Reaching for Louvre

from $75.00

"Reaching for Louvre" is piece No.7 from the Surreal Scapes exhibition, a collection of original landscapes created from real photos by Andrés Caldeh.

The concept behind this piece was "Reach for Greatness", something people of good heart strive for, sometimes during their whole career. This piece took four years to make, as the images are from different places and times. The pyramid on top of the image was photographed one quiet winter afternoon at the Louvre itself, with no one around. The reaching man was photographed in a quiet residential corner of Paris, years later.

This piece is composed by simply layering two real landscape photographs one on top of the other. No AI is used in any piece of this collection.

If you so desire, every piece can also be displayed flipped upside down, revealing another perspective within the same frame.
