Print Shop Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern purchases made through the Caldeh print shop at caldeh.com. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Who We Are

The Caldeh print shop is operated by Cal Media LLC, registered in the United Arab Emirates, registration number 2643585. Caldeh is the brand name under which Cal Media LLC operates this print shop; Cal Media LLC and Caldeh are not separate companies. For any questions, contact us at prints@caldeh.com.

2. Our Products

We sell fine art prints, offered framed or unframed, in a range of fixed sizes. Additional pieces and collections may be added to the Caldeh print shop over time. Every print is made to order and produced through our print-on-demand partner, Gelato, at the production facility closest to your delivery address. No prints are held in stock, and there is no minimum order quantity.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and are final at the time your order is placed. Applicable taxes are calculated automatically at checkout based on your location. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store your card details.

4. Placing an Order

Once an order is placed, it moves into production quickly and cannot be changed or cancelled. Please review your piece, size, quantity, and shipping address carefully before completing checkout. By placing an order, you confirm you are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

5. Custom Sizes, Signed Editions, and Trade or Bulk Orders

Custom sizes, signed editions, and bulk or trade orders (for collectors, galleries, hotels, and offices) are handled outside our standard checkout process, entirely by us directly, not through Gelato. These are quoted individually based on the specifics of your request. Email prints@caldeh.com to arrange.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Most orders are produced within 1 to 3 business days. For Spain, the rest of the EU, the UK, and the US, total delivery is typically within 5 business days from order to arrival. For all other destinations, exact production and shipping estimates are shown at checkout based on your address. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by factors outside our control.

7. Returns, Damage, and Replacements

Because every print is made to order specifically for you, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Under EU consumer law, goods made to a consumer's specifications, including made-to-order prints like ours, are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal that applies to most online purchases.

If your print arrives damaged, defective, or does not match your order, we will replace it at no cost. Contact us at prints@caldeh.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the print and its packaging. If your order has not arrived within 14 days of the estimated delivery date shown at checkout, contact us and we will look into it.

Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the printed piece due to differences in display calibration and printing process; this is not considered a defect.

8. Intellectual Property

All images sold through the Caldeh print shop are original works created by, and remain the intellectual property of, Andrés Caldera (working under the Caldeh brand name). Purchasing a print grants you the right to display it for personal or business decorative use. It does not grant any right to reproduce, copy, resell, or otherwise commercially exploit the image itself, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your purchase, beyond the value of the order itself, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights that may apply under the laws of the European Union, the United Kingdom, or your local jurisdiction.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, war, acts of terrorism, government sanctions or trade embargoes, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, or disruptions to our print-on-demand partner's production or shipping networks.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your own country of residence.
