The Surreal Scapes Collection
Available for Exhibition
Twenty places, each composed from two real photographs layered into a single frame. A body of work newly open to galleries, curators, and exhibition spaces.
Andrés Caldera (Caldeh) is a photographer and creative director based between Barcelona and Dubai, working across commercial photography, video, and fine art. Surreal Scapes is his ongoing photographic series, a body of work built entirely from real places, captured in real light, and shown in a way the eye doesn't expect.
Each piece asks the same question: what does a familiar place look like when one fundamental rule of how we see it changes? In Surreal Scapes, that rule is perspective itself. Every image is built from two real photographs of the same location, taken from different vantage points, at the same moment, in the same light, layered into a single frame. Flip the piece and a second, equally real view of the same place reveals itself.
No part of any image in this collection is AI generated. Every element is a real photograph.

Twenty pieces, and growing

Every piece can be displayed in either orientation, each direction revealing a different, complete view of the same place. Prints are produced as fine art reproductions, available framed or unframed. Custom sizes and proportions are available on request.
One print, two worlds

A first invitation
Surreal Scapes is newly available for exhibition and press. The collection has not yet been shown publicly, this is its first invitation to galleries, curators, and exhibition spaces.
The series is suited to group and solo exhibition formats, hospitality and interior placements, and press coverage of contemporary photography working at the intersection of documentary technique and perceptual illusion.
How this works
- Pieces are typically offered on consignment, the venue sells at an agreed price and retains a margin. Loan arrangements, exhibited and returned afterward, are also considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Exhibition pieces are printed on heavy, matte fine art paper, Hahnemühle Photo Rag, 308gsm, cotton rag, presented with a white mat and black frame. Sizing is specified per inquiry, to match the scale and context of your space.
- Shipping and insurance are arranged directly with each inquiry.
